Starting on 1 November 2018, Berlin-based localization service provider think global Milengo GmbH will do business as Milengo GmbH. Moving forward, all of the company’s business activities will be pooled under the Milengo brand.
BERLIN, Germany, October 2018 – The language service providers think global and Milengo merged in 2016 to form think global Milengo GmbH. Following the merger, the company underwent a complete integration process – which included consolidating the IT infrastructure as well as the vendor database, which contains information on approximately 2,000 translators and reviewers. Numerous process harmonization and team-building measures were also carried out to merge the individual departments, and made a significant contribution towards establishing and bolstering the new company’s sense of team spirit.
Two years down the line, the technical and organizational integration of the two companies, including the standardization of the brand name, is now complete. That means there’s a new top player on the localization market – one with over 25 years of industry experience, organically developed organizational structures, and a clear focus on the IT, hardware, mechanical engineering, and e-commerce segments.
“Thanks to the excellent collaboration among our 80-strong in-house team, Milengo is perfectly equipped for the future,” says CEO Roman Kotzsch. “We’re also benefiting from significantly larger teams for machine learning, software development, and localization engineering. As a result, in the near future we’ll be able to bring products and services based on the latest technologies to the market. The merger has also allowed us to set larger budgets and enjoy synergy effects, which in turn directly benefit our customers.”
