Roman brings over 20 years  experience in the fields of IT, translation and localization and leads our Milengo management team. He established one of Europe’s first localization companies in Germany, which soon grew to be one of the largest in the country by offering quality linguistic services to the IT world that leveraged three crucial components: linguistic competence, technical understanding and a streamlined production process.

Roman is the founder of Milengo, and brings to it a wealth of experience and insight from the localization industry that has helped shape Milengo’s strategic development.

Katalin brings a mixture of translation industry knowledge and a structured business approach to the Milengo management team. She has an MSc in Economics from the Corvinus University where she regularly gives lectures on business planning and management.

She also has a second MSc in English translation and interpreting from the Technical University of Budapest. Katalin successfully raised seed capital to fund her own translation company in 2004 as a winner of a business planning competition at the university. She built and ran her translation business for 6 years before joining a Venture Capital fund advising start-up companies, and then joining Milengo.

Miklos has never shied away from the chance to bring innovation to the translation industry — both in terms of business model expertise and professional insight. He has founded 3 companies since 1999 and recently acquired another, and offers leadership experience as a shareholder and Managing Director.

With his hands-on experience in organizational development, business integration and multilingual localization into 40+ languages, Miklos contributes valuable knowledge of both the local and regional markets to Milengo worldwide.

Lu’s knowledge and expertise in localization technology and software engineering is second to none. Educated at Tsinghua University, China, Lu graduated with a Bachelor of Computer Science. Shortly after he co-founded highly successful company that continues to offer outsourced engineering, production and project management support for LSP’s.

With over 13 years of experience, Lu is one of China’s first “batch” of localization experts and a founding member of the Milengo alliance. Lu’s formidable IT expertise and strong entrepreneurial streak was instrumental in creating Milengo’s Asia GPM centre. Lu and his team provide software localization, engineering and project management support to Milengo clients around the world.

Gabor Kutas is founder and managing director at DCF Consulting, a capital market advisory firm which also specializes in small and medium sized enterprise mergers, acquisitions and restructuring. Gabor studied at the University of Economics, Vienna and received an M.Sc. in International Finance with distinction from CERAM ESC, France and an M.Phil. from Université de Nice.

Gabor worked previously with Milengo when the company restructured from a cooperative to a fully for-profit organization in 2008. He provided consulting on a corporate restructuring strategy, financial and business planning during the implementation phase, and supported negotiation talks with new CEO candidates.
